Aytok DE-DD filters are manually cleaned filters. Almost all of the filter components are made of plastic raw materials. Non-plastic parts are made of stainless steel (AISI304). Therefore, the corrosion resistance of the filters is quite high. It is ensured that the filter performs its duty for years without corrosion.

    Working Princible and Washing Operation

    • Particles from the water source enter the filter but must not pass through to the outlet after filtration through screens or discs.
    • Accumulation of particles on the inner surface of the screen or outer surface of the discs leads to the formation of a dirty layer.
    • Contamination results in increased pressure difference between the filter inlet and outlet, which is manually monitored using manometers.
    • If pressure difference rises, water flow is halted, and the system is stopped to prevent damage.
    • To clean the screen cartridge, clamps on the filter are opened, the cover removed, and the screen cartridge is taken out and cleaned using pressurized water before reassembly.
    • Similarly, to clean the disc cartridge, clamps are opened, the cover removed, and the disc cartridge is taken out. The plastic clamp lever is loosened, discs are opened, cleaned with pressurized water, and reassembled.
